How are logistics and artwork transportation managed? Once selected, participating artists are required to send their artworks in rolled form, without frame, from their location to our registered office in Kolkata, India. Delivery typically takes 2 to 3 days within India. Upon receipt of the artwork, an acknowledgement and confirmation will be sent to the artist. After receiving the artwork, City Art Factory handles the complete export process and ships the artwork directly from India to the designated exhibition country, where it remains under the supervision of our local representative until the exhibition. Prior to the exhibition, each artwork is professionally stretched, mounted, and prepared for display. A decorative border may also be applied where appropriate to maintain presentation standards. For transparency and artist engagement, participating artists are connected to the exhibition venue through live video interaction, allowing them and their family members to experience the exhibition remotely, interact with fellow artists, and engage with visitors and guests attending the event. Following the exhibition, artworks may be retained for a limited period to accommodate post-event enquiries and potential sales opportunities. Thereafter, the artworks are re-imported to India and delivered back to the artist's address. Our objective is to provide artists with a seamless and worry-free international exhibition experience while we manage the logistics, documentation, transportation, and coordination on their behalf.

How are artwork sales handled during and after the exhibition? If a collector, visitor, institution, or buyer expresses interest in purchasing your artwork, City Art Factory will facilitate the transaction on your behalf and assist in negotiating the sale. To cover administrative, promotional, and transaction-related expenses, City Art Factory may offer the artwork to the buyer at a price approximately 10% to 15% higher than the artist's listed price. The artist will receive 100% of the artist's declared selling price. Any additional amount charged above the artist's declared price is retained by City Art Factory to cover associated costs and services. Once payment from the buyer has been successfully received and the artist's declared selling price has been transferred to the artist's designated bank account, the artist must provide a scanned copy of the Artwork Authentication Certificate by email. The original signed hard copy of the Artwork Authentication Certificate must also be sent to City Art Factory to complete the transaction and transfer ownership documentation to the buyer.
